  Yes. The cited Canadian manual lists oil and filter replacement at 8,000 km or six months for severe use, whichever comes first. Use the manual's description of severe conditions and your maintenance monitor to choose the appropriate schedule. Do not apply this 2026 interval automatically to an older CX-5.
